My Story

For a quarter-century, I’ve been jacked in. A computational artist obsessed with bending code, hardware, and design until they stop being tools and start screaming something expressive. My work follows the lineage of the artists and scientists who broke things, who saw the patterns connecting nature, math, and consciousness and weren't afraid to make them real.

BOOT SEQUENCE: ΓΝΩΘΙ ΣΑΥΤΟΝ

The epiphany hit when I was a teenager: I could build and rule my own digital worlds. That set the whole thing off. In the static-filled chaos of those early visions, I wasn't just coding; I was building the machine that was building me.

My process was, and is, purely self-taught. If a commercial tool sucked or a platform was locked down, I didn't wait for a class. I learned the language, reverse-engineered the system, and took it apart myself. It’s a compulsion: master the fundamentals to own the signal.

Curiosity pulled me from formal computer science. I got obsessed with neuroscience and biochemistry, fascinated by the code running inside organisms and ecosystems. I devoured scientific journals, chasing the beautiful, complex models of life.

Ironically, the science led me back to a hard technical wall. I was trying to build an advanced music visualizer and found myself bashing my head against mathematical papers on audio signal processing. It nearly broke me. I only managed to spit out a few cepstrograms then, but the mission was a success. I had charted the territory, gathered the intel, and defined the challenge that would become Audiosome.

OUTPUT: Synthesis & Static

This is where the signals converge. My current work is a synthesis of all that self-inflicted mastery. It’s produced a whole catalog of aesthetic tech: from LED lamps programmed with raw crystals and custom embedded web interfaces, to complex installations like the Rhombotron.

I build the things I want to see in the world. Objects with a strange life to them. My work now leverages everything to build the visual ecosystems of Audiosome, letting you peer into the living substructure of your favorite songs.
